About
Navid Khorassani
Clinical psychologist and psychoanalytic psychotherapist providing psychotherapy for adults and young adults. Since 2018, I have worked with individuals seeking to better understand the emotional and relational patterns that shape their lives.
Grounded in psychoanalytic thinking, therapy offers a space to explore unconscious conflicts, identity struggles, and emotional difficulties with depth and clarity.

Who I Work With
Many people who arrive at KYND Psychology have already tried to make sense of things on their own. They are thoughtful, capable, often highly self-aware, yet something keeps returning them to the same inner conflict.
Some are navigating anxiety and depression, where life continues outwardly but feels heavier underneath.
Others are living with the effects of complex trauma or PTSD, where the past continues to shape the present in ways that are difficult to name.
Some struggle with low self-esteem, identity issues, or a persistent sense of not knowing who they are.
Others feel caught in relationship and attachment difficulties, repeating painful patterns with partners, family, or within themselves.
Some come in the midst of grief and loss, while others are facing major life transitions such as separation, migration, career change, or questions of meaning.
Others seek help for emotional regulation difficulties, chronic stress, or inner pressure that has become exhausting to carry alone.
Some come with diagnoses such as Borderline Personality Disorder and are looking for more than symptom management, seeking deeper and more lasting change.
What they share is a readiness to look honestly at their inner world, and a desire for something more than coping.
If that sounds like you, this may be the right space.

Begin Your Journey
Navid’s therapeutic approach integrates classical psychoanalytic depth with a compassionate, contemporary perspective. He provides a secure and reflective environment where individuals and couples can explore their inner worlds, uncover unconscious patterns, and foster profound, lasting change.
Something More Than Coping
Therapy here is not about quick fixes or surface-level relief. It is about understanding yourself at a level that actually changes things, slowly, honestly, and with someone who is genuinely paying attention.
A Space to Think
Most of us rarely have a place where we can speak without editing ourselves, without performing, without rushing toward a conclusion. Therapy offers exactly that. A dedicated space to slow down, follow the thread, and listen to what has been quietly asking to be heard.
Beneath the Surface
This work goes beyond managing symptoms. Drawing on psychoanalytic thinking, the focus is on what lies beneath: the unconscious conflicts, identity struggles, and relational patterns that shape who we are long before we are aware of them.
How We Are Shaped
We are not formed in isolation. The relationships that shaped us early in life continue to live inside us, showing up in how we love, how we argue, how we withdraw. This approach takes those patterns seriously, not to assign blame, but to understand and, where possible, to change them.
